In order to improve the market mechanism for investment in new ventures, the National Development Fund of the Executive Yuan has established an entrepreneurial angel investment program to provide working capital for new ventures in their early stages of establishment and subsequent development. When Transcene Corporation was established in 2019, it was approved by this plan and injected entrepreneurial funds. The National Development Fund held the "Entrepreneurship Angel Investment Program Results Presentation" on August 23, inviting 12 investment companies from the Entrepreneurship Angel Investment Program, including Transcene, to participate. In addition to sharing experience in new ventures, this results presentation was also used to match investors with new startups for more future investment and cooperation opportunities.

 

This results presentation was attended by General Manager Dr. Hsieh Yamin and Senior Manager Liang Dongqi. In addition to introducing the entrepreneurial history and current development of Transcene to the participants at the meeting, Dr. Hsieh also acted as a business staff at the exhibition, introducing the company's mature products that can provide users with net-zero carbon emissions: spherical silica and its applications to Chairman Kung Ming-hsin of the National Development Commission, officials of the National Development Council, and media reporters. The distinguished guests attending the conference highly praised and were interested in the functional properties and commercial value of this uniform and white spherical silica used in coatings and 3D printing.

 

Furthermore, Dr. Hsieh Yamin also explained that Transcene continues to develop new technologies and has obtained cooperation opportunities for sludge recycling and reprocessing at TSMC's Central Science Park plant. With the location layout of TSMC, these technologies can be copied to Zhuke Factory, Nanke Factory, and even overseas factories in the United States and Japan in the future. It is expected that more source factories will be added in the future to cooperate with more companies to jointly develop a circular economy.
