Facing the green wave of the global circular economy, the Export Processing Zone Management Office of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (referred to as the Processing Office) and the Sustainable Circular Economy Development Association jointly held the "2022 Science and Technology Industry Circular Economy Practical Seminar" at Tanzi Science and Technology Industrial Park on May 27.

 

 Yang Bogeng, Director of the Processing Department, delivered a speech, and Shi Yanxiang, Chairman of the Sustainable Circular Economy Development Association, made an introduction. Experts and scholars were invited to give special speeches to share the challenges and opportunities faced by China in circular economy and climate change, as well as relevant practical practices, which were well received by participating manufacturers.

 

 Hsieh Yamin, the company's general manager, shared "The technology industry's practical approach to promoting circular economy from diagnosis and design to change", explaining how waste resources can be transformed into recycled products through innovative technology recycling, and linking related industries to mutually beneficial symbiosis and reducing environmental load.

 

 The Processing Department will make full use of industry, government, academia and research resources to continue to assist manufacturers in transformation and promote certification of new business models, creating win-win opportunities for economy and environmental protection.
