2025-07-14 Transcene Corp. Successfully Obtains GRS Certification, Persistently Committed to Sustainable Innovation
In July 2025, Transcene Corp. successfully obtained the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification, demonstrating our firm commitment to green manufacturing and resource circularity. GRS is an internationally recognized environmental standard that verifies the recycled content of materials and evaluates environmentally friendly production processes, social responsibility, and chemical management, ensuring traceability throughout the supply chain of eco-friendly products.

To achieve this certification, Transcene implemented strict controls starting from the sourcing of recycled raw materials, establishing a complete supply chain management system. This ensures all raw materials are traceable and compliant with regulations, while upholding environmental protection and labor rights responsibilities throughout the production process. Every stage — from the intake of waste EMC (epoxy molding compound), production, and verification of spherical silica products to shipping — strictly follows the high standards required by GRS. This not only ensures compliance with environmental and quality specifications but also highlights Transcene’s leadership in green supply chains.

Transcene utilizes a low-carbon, energy-efficient green process to recycle waste encapsulation materials from the semiconductor OSAT industry into electronic-grade spherical silica. These high-quality spherical silica products can be applied across various industries including semiconductor packaging materials, copper-clad laminates (CCL), coatings, rubber, and plastics. By providing high-performance, cost-effective local supply chain solutions, Transcene maximizes resource utilization and promotes the benefits of a low-carbon circular economy.

Obtaining the GRS certification marks a significant milestone for Transcene, representing both quality assurance and sustainable development. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen its R&D and innovation capabilities, expand the application scope of recycled materials, and promote more low-carbon, high-efficiency green solutions. Transcene is committed to collaborating with global clients and partners to build a sustainable industrial ecosystem, achieving both business growth and environmental protection, and steadily advancing toward long-term sustainable operations.
