The Taiwan Alliance for Sustainable Supply (TASS), a non-profit organization, was established in January 2017 with the goal of creating sustainable supply development standards that integrate supply management, logistics processes, and information sharing. Since its establishment, Transcene Corp. has been a member of the association and actively participates in the annual "Asia Sustainable Supply + Circular Economy Expo" held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, contributing insights and suggestions to various aspects of Taiwan's circular economy.
To facilitate on-site exchanges among its members, TASS organizes visits to member companies on an irregular basis. On May 23, Chairman Shu-Xin Lai personally led a group of over 10 people, including university professors and corporate executives, to visit Transcene Liuying Plant. In addition to the warm greetings and friendly atmosphere among friends, the Executive Vice President Pyroxene Chou prepared a professional company introduction. He showcased the unique global approach to waste compression mold sealing strips in the field and highlighted the practical application of using processed spherical silica dioxide in floor coatings to enhance performance. Furthermore, in-depth technical and theoretical discussions took place with the attending experts and scholars.
Within the limited time of the insightful visit, the Transcene team also invited the guests to the local Cha Mu Ying Creative Base in Liuying, where they enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea prepared by Chairman Gui-Miao Liu. Amidst the scenic countryside, carried by the gentle breeze, they further explored how the integration of the circular economy with industry and local arts can complement each other and create opportunities for sustainable development.
