2022/11/09 Transcene attended TASS Expo for the 3rd year, and presented cradle to cradle circulation technology of EMC scrapes with ASE and C&L.
The 3rd year of Sustainable Taiwan Expo and Circular Economy Forum is held in Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from November 3-5. The main topic of TASS 2022 Sustainable Taiwan Expo and Circular Economy Forum, which is the only platform to provide sustainable supply chain solutions in Taiwan, focusing on "Net Zero" and "Sustainability" this year. TASS expo also help to match supply and demand sides in the exhibition, and it has become the most impactful exhibition in Asia and the largest circular economy and ESG solutions platform in Taiwan.
For the past 3 years, Transcene has been showing its innovative ideas and products in the circular economy field to customers in different fields. This year, Transcene has become one of the media sensations of TASS Expo for the cooperation with ASE 2 years ago by matching service from TASS. Transcene use self-developed innovative technology to recycle spherical silica in EMC scrapes from ASE, the recycled spherical silica could be used as high quality industrial filler. The circular economy solution of Transcene and ASE help to solve of 5,000 tons per year of waste treatment problem in Taiwan's semiconductor OSAT industry. This technology was also awarded the Taiwan Circular Economy Award for Innovative Technology in this September.
Furthermore, under the great support and expectation from ASE, Transcene cooperates with C&L HI TECH to co-develop the technology of how recycled spherical silica could be used as filler in EMC in OSAT industry to form a real cradle to cradle circulation. The EMC with recycled spherical silica is certificated in production line in ASE already. This first published achievement in the world of "Presentation of using recycled spherical silica from EMC scrapes as filler to produce new EMC" is also presented in TASS expo in the joint presentation of Transcene, ASE and C&L. Although it is only a 5 minutes flash presentation, but it makes reporters flash continuously, moreover, there are TV news and Japanese media reporter come to interview with Transcene, that means the circular economy effort and brilliant results from Transcene is affirmed.
